We only teach / kite in shallow water miles away from any land.  The kiteanchors allow us to rapidly rig multiple kites. In addition, kiters can use the kiteanchors to hold their kites whenever they need a break -- self-land and self-launch in seconds. Each kiteanchor can hold 2 kites.
